I chose Jimmy's Auto Outlet because they were a recommended shop on Allstate's list and close to where I live. I brought my 2022 Toyota Corolla LE in on the afternoon of June 15th for right side collision repairs. This date was scheduled weeks in advance, so that necessary parts could be ordered. Initially, I was really happy with their service. The text communication updates were regular and professional, and up until Friday, June 26th, every update stated my car would be ready on that date. However, on the 26th, the timeline completely fell apart. First, I got a text pushing it to the 29th, and then just a couple of hours later, another text pushed it to the 30th. When I called multiple times between the 29th and July 1st seeking updates, I kept getting the same vague excuse about needing "one more part and a test drive," but the car was never ready. This delay forced me to push back a planned trip and cost me extra money daily for a portion of my rental car out of pocket. I felt completely jerked around until I finally had to have my dad call them on July 1st to get answers. Ultimately, the actual bodywork and repair quality were good, but the final timeline and handling of the completion date were ridiculous. Holding a vehicle for 16 days for a job that their own estimate calculated at just 32 total labor hours is unacceptable.

I had a totally satisfactory experience. Friendly staff, provided help with necessary insurance paper work and the job was done on time. Accidental damage was fixed to perfection. After their repair, my car looked like a brand new car. I have nothing but high praises for Jimmy’s Auto repair business and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any auto repair specially if it involves dealing with Insurance company.

It was a pleasure coming here for auto repair after my accident. Glenn was so friendly, easy to talk to, and he helped me get my vehicle back in time for the holidays. If I ever need work done I will be coming back here!

I can't say enough positive things about Jimmy's Auto Outlet! I was in an accident and referred to this location through my insurance, and I am super happy with the choice. The staff were very personable and professional, keeping me updated every step of the way from drop off to pick up and were happy to answer any questions I had about the repair process. The text message updates were especially helpful in keeping me informed. The end result of the repairs were excellent and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend anyone in need of car repairs choose Jimmy's over any other shop if they're looking for great customer service/experience.

My son broke down while out of town, and I was so worried about the repair. We were incredibly lucky it happened near Jimmy's. Even though he was swamped, Jimmy got to my son's car within 24 hours, did some excellent troubleshooting, and got him back on the road safely. He communicated regularly and was so sympathetic, treating the car like it belonged to his own kid. I can't recommend this place enough for their honest, caring service.

I was floored by how beautiful a job they did on my car. I brought it there to repair a dent a fellow made on my door.They not only made the door perfect, they cleaned my car inside and out. I had no expectation of them actually cleaning my car.nice fellas. I'll go back for car care!

After an honest fella backed into my car I took it to Jimmy's. They made it perfect! They also cleaned and washed my car. I no expectation of them going that extra mile. Wonderful service .

Took my car there Friday of last week at 70k miles and by Wednesday I had a cylinder misfire due amateurs working on my car. Stupid kid overfilled my suv with oil. And now the owner ( Jimmy ) is ducking responsibility for hiring idiots. Now I am paying monthly payments for a vehicle I can’t even drive. Yeah I am beyond pissed.

Was directed to Jimmys with my 2020 Ford Fusion by my insurance company. Minor damage but somehow took 2 days longer to get the car back, no communication I had to call them each step of the way. When I arrived to pick up the car I saw that the bumper didn’t align and there was paint overspray/residue all over the bumper trim. When I pointed this out they needed another couple hours to remedy. Not sure why they couldn’t have done it right the first time. I pointed out a buffer burn mark that was not there before I dropped off the car, they did not take responsibility for it, having my insurance company work with another body shop to remedy. After I got home I opened the trunk only to find paint residue and drips on the trunk and bumper. Wheel also had paint residue on it. Poor body work overall and not great customer service to boot. I would strongly recommend getting your work done somewhere else. See less

Poor quality body work. Several issues after picking up my 2020 Ford Fusion. Had to point out bumper alignment issue and paint overspray residue. After already being 2+ days late on delivering the car I had to wait another few hours to have the issues resolved. Buffer burn mark on the top of the trunk they refused to fix. Contacted my insurance company and they are having it fixed at another location. Poor overall experience.

I bought a car from jimmy's last year and i had nothing but a good experience. Jimmy himself was very friendly and helpful and took the time to help me choose something that was right for me. When my other vehicle was having issues Jimmy took me in same day and figured out the issue right away. Would reccomend Jimm's auto in anybody in the dutchess area.

Jimmys fixed my car incredible nice, i had been hit from the back and now i look like i have a brand new car! Thank you so much you guys are wonderful and thank you for cleaning and washing my car! Amazing place, highly recommend!

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM JIMMY! Bought a car from Jimmy's about a year ago. Driven it less than 1000 miles since and have already had to put over $3000 into the car for repairs. Shortly after purchasing it I noticed a clicking sound (within the 30 day State lemon law period) in one of the wheels. I took it in to have him fix it (I dealt with owner Jimmy for everything) and he assured me nothing was wrong. Gave me some BS about 4-wheel drive... He was also very defensive and a bit confrontational about my concerns with the vehicle. I am now paying out the ear to repair an issue related to that very sound I brought up with him. This is just the latest in a long list of repairs I have had to make. Go elsewhere.

Great job very professional. Owner and manager were very nice and helpful. They did a wonderful job just wish I knew about their quality work years ago so I could have went their last time I needed work. Worth a trip from were ever you are.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE GO TO FISHKILL AUTO BODY INSTEAD! Jimmy's Auto Outlet is by far the WORST repair shop I've had the displeasure of dealing with. When I brought my car in for repair, Gary Q let me know that there would be a delay. Fine, no problem. I come on the day he tells me the car will be ready, and he tells me that they will call me at the end of the day because the car is not ready yet. I never get the phone call. The next day they try to tell me that it will take the rest of the weekend to get the car done. They consistently lie about their time table. Once I got the car back, I noticed that the new panel guard they on my front driver wheel was already ripped! They didn't even do a good job! My lock alarm doesn't sound when the car locks anymore either! The owner of the business also does not know how to process a check at the bank, insisting you use cash or a debit or risk a 3% upcharge. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE GO TO FISHKILL AUTO BODY INSTEAD! The staff at Fishkill Auto Body are kinder, more consistent, have never given me any problems and HAVE NEVER HANDED BACK TO ME A CAR THAT WASN'T FIXED. Stay away from Jimmy's, they do not do a good job.

amazing costumer service!! my car had a few issues and when i brought it back the they fixed it super quickly!! they were super nice about it and it was fixed within two days. highly recommend!!!!!!!

Jimmy and his staff are the best mechanics I have ever relied on for all my car needs. route 52 in Fishkill New York they go above and beyond and always do great job, they take your car in the morning and you have it later on that same day, and I feel he is very fair with his pricing, and has always been very friendly and very professional!

Had auto body repair done. The repair came out perfectly. They did a real rush job on the interior detail and got cleaning solution on my windshield which was a pain to get off. Would have been better if they just left it. Also the owner was out of the shop and the manager was unavailable so I couldn't pick the car up on the day it was ready which cost me on my rental. They were supposed to send text message updates and not only did I not get those but couldn't reach anybody on the phone. For the quality of work I would use them again for all the other stuff.....probably not.

Jimmy and his staff always take wonderful care of me and my family. He is the only one l will allow to work on our cars , for they carry the most precious cargo in the world.

LOVE this place! Jimmy is knowledgeable, helpful, and yes, honest. Lol. You WANT to go here to buy a car and or get your vehicle fixed.

Dissatisfied with my service received at Jimmys. They took a long time to finish the car, told me it would be done a few days ago that morning and then wouldn’t answer their phone when I called at around 3:45. I left a message and called again at 4:20 and still nothing. I get the car back and the repairs are fine, but my interior is covered with some type of greasy cleaner they used. I’m not even sure what the point of using it was as they didn’t vacuum or do anything else. It was also done haphazardly and extra spray was on my windshield and drivers display. The steering wheel was also COVERED in this greasy cleaner, and you are never supposed to use any type of oil based cleaner on the steering wheel. It’s a brand new car and now the steering wheel looks like it’s from 2005. It’s also in my AC vents. So not only did they take an extra day for no reason, I now have to take my car somewhere to be detailed to fix the mess they created.

He’s a lier and dishonest sold me a lemon and never did anything about it!!

this place is only good for inspections and oil changes the rest I would not recommend over priced overcharged and my cars still had the same problem that I took it in for. I took my car in for an inspection and told him that all the dash lights were on to check it out he said it needed a new battery and a new sensor O2 sensor charge me $600 I picked it up 15 minutes later I broke down and had to be towed went to another mechanic told me I should've paid that much for a battery in an O2 sensor. Call Jimmy up gave me some bull story he wouldn't even come and tell me or help me out I had to get a tow truck he didn't do good by me at all I went to another place it was a no-brainer It was my alternator and plus I had missing parts on my engine that The tow truck guy noticed right away the missing part and a cracked pipe that should've been seen it was so obvious never go back there again
